The star of the show, the Bah Kut Teh, is celebrated by patrons for its rich, herbal broth and succulent cuts of pork. Reviewers mention the impressive quality of the meat, noting it is tender and devoid of any unpleasant odors. The well-balanced flavors resonate particularly well with those familiar with traditional recipes, reminiscent of the famed dishes from Klang. The soup's robust flavor profile, often described as “kaw-kaw,” is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to authenticity.

Notably, diners appreciate the variety of cuts available, including the soft bone, ribs, and lean fatty meat, each served in charming petite porcelain dishes atop candle-lit warmers. Pairing your meal with fragrant chrysanthemum tea elevates the experience, making it a perfect complement to the flavorful soup.

Pao Xiong has good Bak Kut Teh soup and meat. The design is modern. The only thing is the tea cup is way too small, like a 5 year old can drink the whole thing with one sip.

I had Bak Kut Teh here for dinner and it was absolutely delicious and amazing. The flavor was rich and authentic — just like the original taste from Klang. The pork was of top-notch quality: tender, juicy, and with absolutely no unpleasant pork smell, which I’m usually very sensitive to. The restaurant was spotless with a clean and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were quick, attentive. The chrysanthemum tea had a wonderfully fragrant aroma that paired perfectly with the meal. Hands down, this was the best Bak Kut Teh in Malaysia for me. Highly recommended for BKT lovers!

It is not common to find BKT in a shopping mall. PXBKT definitely fills a gap here. It is bright, clean and inviting. The greeters at the entrance are friendly and welcoming. It’s not crowded as we arrived for an early dinner. The four of us ordered three cuts of meat - ribs (pai kwat), soft bone (yuen kwat) and lean fatty meat (pun fei sau). Truth be told, the portions are quite small served in petite porcelain dishes set over candle-lit food warmers. Small sizes prevail through the vegetable and tofu dishes as well. Taste wise, the BKT soup is “kaw-kaw”. We liked it and found the strong herbal flavour appealing and very appetising. Between the three cuts of meat, the soft bone was the best - tender, moist and tastiest. 2nd was the rib. The lean fatty meat was a bit tough and dry. Service was super efficient which we appreciated. If you’re looking for a more refined delivery of BKT in a comfortable environment, then this is for you if you don’t mind paying a little premium. Dinner for four costs RM211 with 5 rice and tea.

The taste is good. Very thick broth. But when comes to soup refill, asked the Myanmar guy, he refill only half the bowl instead of full.
